EASE Rating System is a performance-based evaluation system that tangibly measures the accessibility level of built environments. This evaluation system closely monitors and rates each physical component of a place that contributes to its equitable use. It enables public and private buildings to take small, targeted actions that drive inclusivity across ages, genders, and abilities, leading to meaningful change. Thus, creating safer, welcoming, and functional environments for all.

EASE Audit is a tool for accessibility compliance management. Placelytics curated the EASE Building Standards as the universal design compliance assessment as per the standards set out by Harmonised Guidelines & Standards for Universal Accessibility, 2021 and National Building Codes, 2016, in light of the Rights of Persons with Disability Act (RPwD), 2016.
EASE Building Standards Version 1(Beta), May 2025, is the first version of an extensive compliance model for inclusive building practices. These standards are the foundation for the EASE Rating system and for conducting the EASE Audits. Currently, we use this version for compliance management. The EASE Audit evaluates the built environment against 30+ accessibility parameters and 1000+ accessibility indicators to verify its usability by 9+1 target groups.

An on-site Audit is an EASE Audit conducted for existing buildings. Our Placelytics Professional Auditor will carry out our proprietary methodology with our audit management software. They collect on-ground measurements, photographic evidence and additional information on the site.
